(IET OSTEO 1) Advanced Osteopathy 1 Course  is the first course in the IET Advanced Equine Osteopathic Techniques Certification Program. Each Osteo Course builds on the previous course and it is important to take each course in order. (IET OSTEO 1) Advanced Equine Osteopathic Techniques 1 - Vascular & Thoracic Dysfunction
Advanced Equine Osteopathy Techniques students learn methods of utilizing hands-on (manual) and natural treatments. Being able to merge, assess, and affect any tissue structure at a deeper level with precision, sets osteopathy apart from all other healing disciplines. This course will incorporate all three synchronistic flow; CranioSacral (John Upledger), Visceral Manipulation (Jean-Pierre Barral), and Vascular Manipulation (Frank Lowen).

Prerequisite: Complete (IET CST5) Equine CranioSacral Course.
*Or Equivalent Approved Cranial or Osteopathic Education (To Be Approved by the Instructor)

*Suggested completion of (IET F5) 5 Day  Intensive, Foundational Techniques Course

(IET OSTEO 3) Advanced Equine Osteopathic Techniques 3

Visceral Manipulation
Students will focus on becoming proficient at resetting diaphragm spasms, organ dysfunctions, urogenital system, and lumbar pelvis constrictions.
Diaphragm spasms are common and often the primary cause of debilitating symptoms that are difficult to resolve without therapeutic intervention. Symptoms like physical lameness, metabolic, and emotional indications are caused by diaphragm spasms and are also cleared when treating the diaphragm. Students will focus on visceral manipulation techniques, lumbar torsions, subluxations, and resetting pelvic and sacral dysfunctions. Clearing soft tissues, joint dysfunctions via vascular, neural, lymphatic, and manipulations will be addressed.
Advanced Osteopathic Techniques 3 (IET OSTEO 3) Course is the third course in the Advanced OsteopathIic Techniques Certification Program. Each Osteopathic Course builds on the previous course and it is important to take each course in order. Students interested in becoming certified in the Integrated Equine Therapies Advanced Osteopathic Techniques will need to complete all 4 courses and enroll in the Certification Program.
