Stomach Ulcers in Horses

Stomach ulcers are commonly developed when the diaphragm muscle starts to spasm constantly. When this happens, the diaphragm muscles will twist the esophagus and the bordering vagus nerve at the Esophageal Hiatus. The vagus nerve is one of the 12 cranial nerves and handles proper acid secretion. When this type of impingement happens, it will cause an imbalance in the stomach. This type of stomach ulcer is mechanical initially, but can lead to severe distress and is one of the main causes of stomach ulcers.

Utilizing osteopathic and craniosacral techniques shown in this video, learn ulcer treatment for horses by releasing the diaphragm, and spasms in the vagus nerve and the esophagus. These results will be immediate, with palpable relief in the horse and rapid tissue healing.
